What is lashline eyeliner?

This eyeliner technique (upper only) will add color to the lash line making the lashes appear darker and fuller, also called an “eyelash enhancement”. It defines, brightens, and accentuates the eyes. This is the most conservative eyeliner technique and is great for those who do not typically wear eyeliner or are looking for a subtle, natural enhancement.

This is the most “low-commitment” technique in permanent makeup. No matter how your eyes age they will always look good with a dark base on the lashes so it’s an easy commitment Once the tattoo fades you will never even know it was there because the lashes will cover the old markings. Lash line eyeliner is a must have for every woman! Even men can pull this off without anyone knowing that it is even tattooed. Gone are the days of trying to shove a pencil between your lashes! No topical makeup will get as close and dense as an eyelash enhancement tattoo.

Because the tattoo heals very soft it is not recommended on dark skin because not much of the tattoo will be visible.

We do not offer any lower eyeliner tattoos. The water line is not able to be tattooed so the lower liner ends up giving a droopy appearance to the eye.

*You must be off any eyelash growth serums (Latisse, Lash Boost, etc.) for at least 6 months before having your eyeliner tattooed. These serums make the eyelid very sensitive and prone to bruising. If the skin bruises too much the pigment will not enter the skin due to swelling. You cannot be wearing eyelash extensions or contact lenses during your appointment. Minor swelling is normal and will subside within a few days. No eye makeup can be worn until healed (7-10 days) to prevent infection.

Before coming in:

The tattoo will appear dark/bold for the first 7-14 days and have mild flaking for a few days. Eyes may be slightly swollen for 1-3 days and no eye makeup can be worn for 7 days. Arnica tablets/pills are recommended to take the day before and morning of to prevent swelling.

Do not wet for the first 24 hours so make sure you come with your face clean.

No excessive sweating for 7 days, no swimming for 7-10 days, and no sun tanning for 4 weeks so make sure you don’t schedule your appointment before any special events or vacations.

No eyelash extensions or contact lenses can be worn and make sure to come with no eye makeup on.

You cannot wear contact lenses for a week after your appointment.

Make sure to not have an MRI scheduled until after your tattoos are fully healed.

No caffeine, alcohol, vitamin E, fish oil, aspirin, or pain medications 24 hours before as these thin the blood.

Do not tan or spray tan two weeks prior or have a sunburned face.

Do not have any type of facials, chemical peels, or laser treatments one months prior. Discontinue Retinol products one month prior on or around tattoo area.

Must be off any eyelash growth serums (Latisse, Lash Boost, etc) for a minimum of 6 months. These serums will cause bruising/swelling, and pigment may not be able to enter the skin.

Must be off prescription Accutane or other oral acne medications one year prior to treatment. Must be off chemotherapy 6 months.
